    We will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and spend enough time exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire, you are free to explore on your own or hire a guide.

  • Meknes, Meknes, Morocco
    Meknes, one has a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. It then exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art “Dar Jamai” offers a wide variety of handcrafts, then we head back to fes.

Organisation of pick-up worked great, even if you were not in the list - I had to walk about 3min. Hacham and Mohsaeno (I hope I spelled them correctly) were great guides. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Almost all questions could be answered, sometimes even before they were asked. We had 1.5h in Volubilis - that was very pleasant. So you had enough time to explore everything in peace. Everything underneath would have been stressful. The ticket there cost 100DH for foreigners. The time in Meknes was also sufficient. However, I didn't find the place/city very exciting. If you have already seen Medinas, then there is little new to discover.

Great tour, Meknes is a lot less crowded than Fes and still very cool. Definitely bring some extra cash for souveniers! Rashid and Mohamed were great.
