Khalifa was a fantastic guide! Fez can be an overwhelming city, so we were so grateful to have Khalifa to show us around. He was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us all the important sights. We learned a lot and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Wij zijn op vrijdag 13 december naar Fes gegaan voor een rondleiding door de oude Medina Fes el Bali. Bij onze Riad werd al aangeraden een gids te nemen en achteraf geen spijt van gehad. Ja, je kan het zelf doen, maar dan zul je de helft van de gebouwen / highlights voorbij lopen. Het was vrij rustig deze vrijdag vanwege het middag gebed en omdat het december was, maar wij vonden dat heerlijk. Je kan veel meer zien en doen als het net wat rustiger is, dus een aanrader voor mensen die graag door willen lopen en meer willen doen/zien op een dag. Je mist dan wel de volle straten en volgehangen muren op sommige plekken. Khlafa komt uit Fes en is een ervaren gids, hij weet veel te vertellen over de geschiedenis van Fes en stopt bij de noemenswaardige gebouwen. Doordat het rustig was, hadden we overal rustig de tijd om te kijken, te proeven en te luisteren. Kortom een mooie tour door Fes met Khlafa waar we ook wat leuke souvenirs mee hebben genomen bij de leerlooierij en weverij.
