  • Hercules Cave, Tangier, Morocco
    This cave has historical, archaeological, and mythical significance. You can see evidence of the Phoenicians, the Berber people, and even where Hercules himself is believed to have stayed before his 11th Labour--to get golden apples from the Hesperides Garden. The cave has two outlets, one to the sea, the other to the land. Cape Spartel lighthouse has a quaint café where we will enjoy coffee or orange juice. Coffe, juice is included in cost of tour. Not included: *Hercules Cave Entrance fee is $10/person as of summer 2024.

We were on this tour with Chop Chop and he did an excellent job! He took very good care of us all day. I got injured ( no fault of the tour) and he made sure to find me some first aid attention. If I did it again, I would skip the meal. We were not prepared for the expense and we had little choice on what we were given. Consequently, we did not eat a lot of it. The experience in the restaurant was interesting, though. I would have used the time to wander the Medina a bit while they ate. My highlight was the camel ride on the beach. Chop Chop took our photos for us and they were perfect!!! Thanks, Chop Chop!

Was not as advertised. Be very cautious with this tour operator. We booked their private customized tour. When we met the guide we were jammed on a large 17 passenger van and given a set tour with many spots we had no interest in seeing. The guide Chop Chop was very good, but what we signed up for and paid for was not the experience we got. When the guide contacted the operator he said it was a very busy day so they had to put people together. Offered no discount, only cancellation as an option. Which would leave us on the ship for the day. Not really an option. He was indignant and rude, said he had sent us an email but we never got it. Checked spam etc. Got several correspondence from him thru Trip advisor, none mentioned the change. Basically a bait and switch. Book and pay for a private tour, then when you arrive and don’t have other options, switch you to a group tour.

We had a fantastic experience with Nabil and his team! Nabil was proactive with his communication beforehand via WhatsApp and was eager to adjust the tour as needed to cater to what we wanted to see. Everything was well-organized and he was very knowledge about the city, its history, and all of the sights we visited. Would definitely recommend.
