Private Fez to Marrakech Via Merzouga desert tour 3days

This is one of the best trip we’ve had as a family with 2 young adults, a teenager and a child. We took the sharing package and had Tarik as our driver/guide in a small van with just another solo tourist who was very accommodating with our needs as a family. The first day, we were brought from Fez to Ifrane, a high altitude resort town before going back down to the desert to camp for the night, stopping many times to look at different local and cultural activities and for lunch and refreshments. Tarik was always attentive to our needs especially with young children. Upon arrival, we were given welcome drinks and immediately taken to see the mesmerising view of the sunset on camel backs. Afterwards, we got back on the camels to the campsite where our luggages were already waiting and tents assigned. The tents were surprisingly comfortable and includes en-suite bathroom with hot water. After a delicious traditional Morocco’s dinner, we were entertained with drums and singing over a firepit. The next day, we went to the High Atlas Mountains to stay at Quarzazate, again stopping many times to enjoy the beautiful sceneries of different landscapes and climates that Morocco has to offer. On the final day, we skipped the visit to the Atlas Studio because none of us wanted to go and went straight to the Kasbah where Gladiator and GOT was filmed. Finally, Tarik sent us directly to the Riad in Marrakech. Tarik made the whole trip felt safe and enjoyable.

The trip was awesome. Hafid is a very peacful nice and good driver who took us from Fés to the desert. On the trip there are 3 Viewpoints where you stop to feed some monkeys for example. The people in the desert are nice and respect when you dont want to buy something. Even if you dont booked the „luxury trip“ you even have your own tent with friends or family. You re lucky when you are with Hafid.

I spent three wonderful days with Tarik in Morocco. It is extremely dynamic, friendly and makes every moment pleasant. If you want to learn more about the culture, history and traditions of Morocco, while having a guide who knows how to put you at ease, I can only recommend it. He knows unique places to visit and knows how to perfectly adapt the visits according to your desires. A memorable experience!
