Rabat, Rabat, Morocco 08.00 am begin your private full-day trip to Rabat “capital of Morocco” with a hotel pickup from Fez in an air-conditioned vehicle. So, with many stops enjoy the landscape, cool air, and capture photos for a lifetime.
Upon, arrival to Rabat city, visit the Old- Medina, and walk through the labyrinth of souks and artisan shops. Visit Place Souk -El- Ghezel (Wool Market Square) where in the past Christian prisoners sold as slaves…Walk also to famous “Rue -des -Consuls” where foreign consuls obliged to live. Browse crafts shops and visit the Jewish quarter.
After lunchtime, start the second part of our tour that includes the following places :
Hassan Tower magnificent mosque, emblematic of Rabat well- known for its unfinished minaret where storks nest and its great location stands on the hill overlooking Bou-Regreg River. Next, visit Mohammed -V Mausoleum decorated with very stained simple glass windows, marble and an iron-wrought entryway with many stairways leading directly to the amazing dome.
Than, Bouregrag River, stopping to discover Udayas kasbah built during the Almohads region (1121-1269) to protect the city and is enclosed by ramparts dating back to Almohad period. Moreover, Visit Bab Oudaïa a monumental gate and a great example of architecture Almohad military. Also, Watch Oudaïa- Musee, Moulay Ismaïl’s palace that presents wonderful collections of traditional Moroccan folk art. Furthermore, take some relax at the Andalusian garden with Moorish style.
Finally, Our Fez Rabat Day trip will not finish without a visit to Chellah’s powerful Roman port, and town as well as. last stop, the new town that has vast boulevards, open green spaces, avenues lined with residential blocks, a railroad, Morocco Bank, and cathédrale Saint -Pierre. Ha sido de 10! Darek, el chófer que nos llevó fue un excelente conductor y nos llevó a los sitios más bonitos de Rabat. Al finalizar nos acompañó hasta la puerta del Riad dentro de la Medina, cosa que se agradece en el laberinto de calles. Excepcional!
