WOW! What trip! This was everything that was promised and more! Don't kid yourself, these are VERY long days, but so worth it! Ydir, our driver, was funny, informative, and very conscientious. The stops were well planned with a few delightful surprises. The flexibility of a smaller group was worth every penny. The pictures, the memories... what a wonderful way to see Morocco!

There are no roads in the desert and the vehicle du jour was our trusty 4x4. Once out of sight of civilization (and there isn't very much out here), we met up with Said & Aboud and their fleet of "ships of the desert" (camels). These two guys were members of the Toureg Bedouin tribe and provided some background into their way of life. After a cup of fresh coffee, it was time to saddle up. They shouted, "Yalla, Yalla (move it) as we mounted our steeds and headed off across the wavy sand dunes enjoying the views from on high. I could hear my wife who was a little skittish saying "Shuay, shuay" in a stage whisper. It means take it easy; not too fast. We had a blast in our hand-rolled turbans with face covering to protect us from wind-blown sand and desert sun. As an aside, we came back to the dunes in the early evening for a "sundowner" (wine or beer and munchies) and to watch the setting sun.

The Sahara Shared Tour offered us an excellent services during our Fez to Marrakech Desert tour. I traveled from Fez to Marrakesh with my girlfriend, and Mohamed, we have always felt safe and taken good care of.
In addition to all the promised services and accommodation, we had a, adventure of our lives, the changing landscape from green in the middle Atlas mountains, to the magical desert with very high sand dunes.
I highly recommend this Travel Agency
