Enjoy free time to discover a place on your way After that, Continue, to Moulay Idriss The holiest Islamic town, monument and mosque opened just for Muslims. But, it gives to visitors an excellent impression, just by taking a look at the hallway of the town. It’s a panoramic view. After that, We’ll watch elongated square above us, green-tiled pyramids of the Zaouia and stroll between the labyrinth of clean alleyways. Break for lunch at local or chic restaurants in Following lunch, start the Meknes city tour Go into the Medina. So as to, discover monumental city gates dating back to XVII-century. Good organization with the agency that confirmed the appointment the day before the excursion. Meeting point as close as possible to my Riad, right on time, with Sofiane as driver for the day. Sofiane was very professional and even beyond by her kindness. Exchanges that contribute greatly to the success of this day. For the turn, my favorite for Volubilis! Driver Imad recommended this tour to me and it was excellent! Mohammed drove us safely to these beautiful sites. I particularly enjoyed the panoramic views and visit to Moulay Idriss. Our restaurant stop in Meknes was fabulous. This was a leisurely, enjoyable day with 5-star service from start to finish. I recommend!

What I learned from this trip is that there is a clear distinction between "driver" and "guide" in Morocco. Usually tours will have one or both. In my two weeks in Morocco, I did several tours and the ones with both provided the most information, the ones with just drivers mostly took you to different destinations and said what it is with little to no explanation. This tour only had a driver. I wish the viator postings for Morocco are clearer about this. I've found that viator postings for Morocco have been pretty bad compared to my experience with this platform while visiting other countries. While we did get to see a lot of things, I usually go on tours so I can also learn about what I'm seeing. If you're the type of person who just wants to see things and take pictures, this is for you, if you want to learn more about the history, perhaps find another tour with a certified guide.
