5-Day Private midrange Tour in Arusha with Airport Pickup

We had a fantastic 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris in June 2025. Everything was perfectly organized – route, accommodations and transfers. Our guide Amir was experienced, super friendly and open – although we are deaf, he even started learning to sign. A real highlight! We saw lions and cheetahs up close, both eating – unforgettable! Also elephants, zebras, hyenas, giraffes and a rhino in Ngorongoro Crater (with binoculars). The accommodations, especially the Suricata Boma Lodge near Tarangire, were clean, cozy and well located. As deaf guests we felt safe, respected and welcome at all times. Clear recommendation – Asante sana, Amir!

Great experience, excelent food and accomodation - including wonderfull staff in each place. We saw a lot of animals, it was an amazing trip. Also, thank you to our guide Elias and to the Serengeti Bush Camp Simba manager - Steve. Another comment: Suricata Booma Lodge is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Before choosing the safari company we compared 50 (!) different providers and Suricata seemed to be the best value for money and had a lot of good reviews. After the safari I can say confidently that it was an excelent choice and that I'm adding another great review.

The entire time everywhere we went we felt welcome and safe. All the people who helped us starting with those who picked us up at airport, those who helped us get familiar with Arusha, and staff at all the lodges and campgrounds we stayed in were so welcoming, so helpful and so kind. Our guide in particular Lewis (Rastas Man) made the trip phenomenal for us. He was not only a wonderful driver, He was the most wonderful tour guide and kind man. He was attentive to how and where we wanted to stop and spend time and what we wanted to see. He never rushed us. He gave us so much personal and cultural and botanical information about the area and told us so many interesting and phenomenal things about the animals. He kept us informed of our itinerary and how we should prepare. He treated us royally and with kindness, patience and humor and we all fell in love with him. He made our trip absolutely spectacular. In addition, the person who greeted us, Danielli was equally kind and helpful. He oriented us and helped us to understand what the trip was all about and how to acclimate to the country and was there if we needed help with anything.
