8 Days Tanzania Adventure Tented Camps Safari

We were lucky to have the two best guide Rama and Emmanuel, both created a very motivating, supportive environment so thanks to the team we made to the top! I felt very safe and comfortable the entire hike. The organization of the whole trip was smooth. I highly recommend to go with one of the guides!

Sehr gute individuelle Planung im Vorfeld. Sämtlich Änderungswünsche oder Vorstellungen waren möglich und wurden schnell angepasst. Einfache Kommunikation über WhatsApp oder Mail mit Verah. Wir planten die private Safari mit einem Mix aus Zelten und Lodges in den Nationalparks Tarangire, Serengeti und Ngorongoro Crater Von der Abholung am Flughafen über die Safari bis zum Weiterflug hat alles geklappt. Am Ankunftstag gab es ein kurzes Briefing durch den Inhaber Clinton und Vorstellung unseres Fahrers Eric. Wir waren die ersten Tage mit Eric und unserem Koch Zelten. Beide sprachen sehr gut englisch. Eric ist ein super Guide! Kennt als Massai die Tiere und ihr Verhalten. Er hat uns immer ganz nah an die Tiere herangebracht! Kennt alle Nationalparks sehr gut. Beim Abendessen haben wir interessante Gespräche über das Leben in Tansania geführt. Sehr spannend! Wir hatten einen geplatzten Reifen, was in der Serengeti regelmäßig wegen der Straßen passiert. Konnte Eric schnell wechseln. Er ist stundenlang mit uns auf Game Drive gewesen, so lange wir wollten. Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, obwohl nur auf einem Gaskocher gekocht wurde. Meistens gab es eine Suppe als Vorspeise und Hauptgericht und Salat. Wasser, Tee und Kaffee ist auch immer dabei. Zelte werden aufgebaut. Besonders spannend war die Nacht auf einer Special Campsite alleine in der Serengeti! Campingtoilette und -dusche wurden aufgebaut. Uns persönlich hat das Zelten besser gefallen und ist eine gute Alternative zu teuren Lodges. Wir sind auch immer früh ins Bett gegangen und um 6 oder 7 aufgebrochen. Die Fahrt in die Northern Serengeti hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Wir haben selbst im Oktober gesehen, wie 500-600 Wildbeests den Fluss überquert sind. Africa Joy Safari können wir nur empfehlen.

I, my wife and our two kids went on an 8-days safari with Africa Joy tours to Tarangire, Serengeti (North and Center), Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, followed by 5-days extension to Zanzibar. When planning our trip, Clinton was always extremely kind and helpful. We made some personal suggestions to the initial plan, which were readily implemented, in a timely and efficient manner. Our private tour guide Raymond picked us up at the airport in Kilimanjaro and dropped us off there in the end. He was a great company throughout the Safari, always very friendly, funny, supportive and knowledgeable: we were so lucky!Raymond knew everything about the parks and wildlife and was amazing at spotting animals. He was even patient enough to teach us some Swahili words. It was a fantastic trip and a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, we saw a lot of animals, including the Big Five (in less than 24 hours!) and the wildebeest migration. Even with the Covid19 pandemics, everything went smoothly. The lodges were fantastic, with excellent accommodation and food, and Covid19-related health security measures were in place: we always felt secure. We had a truly memorable experience that exceeded all of our expectations, and highly recommend Africa Joy tours: they are the best!
