Climbing Kilimanjaro with Altezza Travel was truly the experience of a lifetime, made even more incredible by how thoroughly everything was planned and executed. From the very beginning, I was impressed by how detailed and organized everything was before we even set foot on the mountain. What stood out most were all the “little things” that I didn’t expect but came to appreciate so much—like warm washing water every day, the hot water bottle bunnies at night, and thoughtful touches at every stage. The crew of 46 (guides, cooks, waiters, camp managers, toilet crew, and more) worked seamlessly together to make our climb as comfortable and smooth as possible. Our team was absolutely outstanding! The daily oxygen checks were taken seriously and gave us a sense of confidence and safety throughout the trek. Every guide and crew member went above and beyond—whether it was helping with a stubborn tent zipper, making a special tea request at dinner, or carrying my backpack on summit night and meeting us on the descent from summit night with refreshing hibiscus juice!! Altezza’s attention to detail, professionalism, and heart made what could have been an intimidating challenge into something unforgettable and surprisingly comfortable. I would recommend Altezza again and again without hesitation! I certainly could not have gotten to the roof of Africa without the support of our amazing guides and incredible crew!! Asante sana!!
