Embark on this thrilling 7-day Kilimanjaro Machame route hiking adventure and enjoy captivating scenic vistas and pristine wildlife on the way to the peak of Africa. One of the most popular routes, featuring great acclimatization transition is an ideal choice for the beginners and experienced hikers alike. You will cross several climatic zones (from rainforest to Arctic desert), each different, unique and captivating.   Our professional climbing crews will take care of your safety and comfort. Overnight stays are in our walk-in tents (designed by us and customized for Kilimanjaro), the “kitchen” team will surprise you with their cooking skills, and the porters will carry all equipment. The guides will be leading your way, excitedly sharing their knowledge of this amazing Mount.   Pre and post-climb accommodation (included) will be in a cosy hotel in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Incredible and life changing experience. The team from Altezza were truly exceptional! In particular, I highly recommend Kombe, Emmanuel and Lihiru as your guides on your journey. Without them we simply won’t have made it to the top!

Altezza probably couldn’t have done a better job if they tried. All the credit to them for selecting fantastic guides to lead our trip. This was quite a challenging trip. It rained for the first two days and summit day is incredibly challenging. So worth it! Especially with the group of guides that lead us up. Always attentive, always building us up and encouraging us. There’s not enough space to express my gratitude for all the things the guides and altezza did for us to make it to the top and down again. Remember you are climbing 6000 meters! It is not easy and you have to be ready to conquer your mind. You will want to quit. Don’t. Thanks Altezza and the guides for making this challenge one of the most memorable experiences.

I cannot even begin to express how amazing our experience was with Altezza! They had every detail planned out so precisely for their climbers. The team had every meal, every medication, and every equipment ready for anyone in need, and we even celebrated birthdays and Christmas together! Our guides, Albert, Mark, Gaudance, Regis, Starson, and Israel were so attentive and kind—we are sooo grateful for them. We would not have made it to the summit had it not been for their encouragements and support. No wonder Altezza is the #1 travel group for Kilimonjaro! If we get the opportunity to come back to this stunning mountain in the future, we will 100% go with Altezza again :)
