Big Five Classic Safari in Tanzania **Sustainable Travel approach

We had a really wonderful safari tour, our guide Samuel was absolutely fantastic & incredible at spotting the more secretive animals for us! He was happy to spend all the time we wanted at each sighting & we never felt rushed. The accommodation - especially the Serengeti safari lodge was just lovely. We almost saw all the big five (some debate over if it was a rhino or actually a rock) but seeing a lion hunt on our last day made up for the shy rhinoceros! The meals could have been slightly better but everything else was wonderful.

Wir hatten das Glück, alle Big 5 zu sehen, darunter die seltene Sichtung eines Leoparden und eines Rudels Wildhunde in der Serengeti, Unterkünfte waren perfekt!

I went on the Arusha day safari from Moshi. I was picked up by a very friendly and professional guide called Johnson who drove us to Arusha National Park. From there we drove from through the park and Johnson was excellent at pointing out the animals including white and blue monkeys, baboons, dik dik, waterbuck, warthog, water buffalo, zebra and giraffe. We then arrived at the location for the walking safari. I was guided by a ranger and a very knowledgeable guide through the park on foot, where we had close encounters with giraffe, which I had said were my favourite. The guide told me about the plants and animals we passed, and took me to a beautiful waterfall. After the walking tour, Johnson took us to a lake where we had lunch, and continued with the game drive. We were lucky enough to see a herd of elephants on the way back, and Johnson was brilliant at taking photographs and videos to capture these special memories. I felt very safe throughout the day and would like to say a big thank you for an amazing experience.
