Mount Kilimanjaro Marangu Route

The Best trip I ever had. The Best guide and organisation. Everything was on time and perfect. It exceeded my expectation.

The last one week in Tanzania has been epic. My five brothers and I have successfully climbed Kilimanjaro and also visited Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater in addition to spending time with the Hadzabe tribe of hunter gatherers. Jackson made everything very smooth. He listened to us then created the amalgamated trip with all the places and activities on our wishlist. Khateeb, Omary and Frank are amazing mountain guides. They were our guardians for the six days we were on Kilimanjaro via Marangu route. They are exceptional individuals who kept us safe, comfortable and well taken care of. Kilimanjaro is a beautiful mountain and worth attempting. We had much fun on the way to the summit. I also have to thank John for the excellent meals every day. His culinary skills are excellent. The safari tour with Musa sealed the trip as one of the most successful trips of my life. Amazing game viewing while sleeping in top of the range lodges. It was a really great experience.

We were in constant communication with Jackson the owner Maua Adventures, helping us prepare excellently for the 6 days Kilimanjaro Marangu climbing expedition. We met our guides Fadhir and Tony the evening before our trek. They briefed about the trek and also brought the gear we had hired. Our crew of eight consisted of 2 guides, 5 porters and 1 cook (Jeremiah- who made fantastic food despite tough conditions).
