There's no beating the freedom of driving oneself around Kruger. However, to deepen one's experience of the bush, the visitor should take advantage of a guided game drive. Options include a full day guided safari which can be shared or booked privately. You will be collected from your accommodation in surrounding area in an open safari vehicle and taken on a guided tour of the Kruger National Park. Your knowledgeable guide will interpret the bush and give you a detailed explanation of the animal's behavior. See the Big Five as well as a diverse array of other animals and bird life from the Steenbok to the mighty African Elephant. Birders are spoilt as the Kruger is one of the best birding regions in South Africa.

The game drive was excellent. We had an absolutely fantastic full day safari with Bush and Gables. Our guide, Tiaan, was a delight, and always had interesting information about everything we saw, as well as knowing where to go and what to look out for. Overall it was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who gets the opportunity.
