Salzburg here we come! The full day trip starts in the morning, with pick up at your Munich, Berchtesgaden or Salzburg accommodation. Cool drinks and snacks will be waiting for you in a comfortable SUV-, Minivan- or Sportscar-vehicle. As soon as we have arrived in Salzburg, one of the most beautiful cities in Upper Austria, we will explore the Hohensalzburg Castle from the in and outside and attend a castle tour. The imposing castle 506 metres above the rooftops of Salzburg, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the beautiful city and its surroundings. Afterwards we will have a delicious traditional Austrian lunch. Strengthened and still in a good mood, we continue our walk through the old part of Salzburg. We'll have plenty of great photo opportunities, be it the birth or residential house of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Mirabell Gardens, the Residence Square, the famous Cathedral, the Getreidegasse, the Mönchsberg, the Museum der Moderne or many other amazing sights.

We recently spent 3 days with Sepp as our guide for Oktoberfest and day trips to Salzburg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. From start to finish, Sepp was wonderful -professional, yet friendly and warm. He was always prompt and well-prepared for the day (complete with local pastries, snacks and drinks), flexible with our itinerary as needed and enthusiastic in sharing his deep knowledge of and passion for Bavaria. We truly enjoyed our experience with Sepp and would not hesitate to book with him again in the future. Highly recommended!!

We had the absolute best experience with Sepp! From the moment he picked us up, he went above and beyond to make sure our day was unforgettable. He didn’t just follow a script—he listened to what we were interested in and actively rerouted the tour throughout the day so we could see more of what we loved. Because of him, we discovered parts of Bavaria we never would have experienced on our own. He thought of everything—snacks, drinks, even fresh local pastries to start the morning—and made the day feel completely tailored to us. His knowledge of the area, combined with his flexibility and warm personality, turned what could have been a simple day trip into one of the most memorable highlights of our entire time in Europe. This was one of the best days we spent in Bavaria. Sepp is a wonderful guide. Professional, organized, knowledgeable and courteous. He was very willing to adapt to our changes in the itinerary to include additional sites we wanted to see. Plus, he is very pleasant to be around. Sepp was also our guide for a private Munich Beer Hall hopping. He took care of all the details and we had a blast. It was the most fun night we had. We highly recommended using him as a guide. We would have planned more activities with him, we simply ran out of time.
