    Grand Mosque Photo Stop only (if you will start at 13:00 PM and Friday for prayer time) We will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat where we will first visit the grand mosque for photo stop which, among a couple others, is one of the biggest 1-piece handmade Iranian carpet in the world. The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is Closed If Friday (For Friday Prayer) Just only Outside for Photo Stop.

    Al Jalali Fort Photo Stop only. Al Jalali Fort, or Ash Sharqiyah Fort, is a fort in the harbor of Old Muscat, Oman. The fort was built by the Portuguese under Philip I of Portugal in the 1580s to protect the harbor after Muscat had twice been sacked by Ottoman forces. It fell to Omani forces in 1650. During the civil wars between 1718 and 1747, the fort was twice captured by Persians who had been invited to assist one of the rival Imams. The fort was extensively rebuilt later.

I was in Oman just for half a day and it was the best solution to take a privat tour by this company! Soooo much friendly and professional, very comfortable, personalized and adjusted to my desires and needs. Mohammed answered all my questions and helped me to feel the country so that now I want to come back to Oman again and explore it for longer period of time. Definitely recommended and grateful for this experience!

If you are short on time, this tour is perfect for you to see the highlights of Muscat. The tour company is extremely efficient with all communications and provided a full itinerary so I knew what to expect. My tour guide Waleed was fantastic - he is very knowledgeable, courteous and he was happy to answer any questions along the way. This tour packed a lot of sights into a short period of time and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
