Starnberger See, Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany With a short stop at Lake Starnberg, you will be amazed by the crystal clear waters of the second largest Bavarian lake. And of course we will show you the place where King Ludwig II died mysteriously on June 13, 1886! 10 minutes
Schloss Neuschwanstein, Schwangau, Bavaria, Germany Castle NEUSCHWANSTEIN - dream destination of countless travellers from all over the world! No building in Germany is visited more often than Ludwig's most famous fairytale castle, which began construction in 1869.
It was dedicated to Ludwig's favorite composer Richard Wagner; the neo-Romanesque facade deceives the fact that the progressive king had it built as a high-tech castle.
During the 35-minute guided tour of the castle, you will be shown all the completed living rooms of the king. On the following 15-minute way to the exit you will pass through one of the unfinished floors, after which you will see the unusually modern kitchen of the castle as well as the planned bathroom.
Skip-the-Line tickets are already included in the travel price! 150 minutes
Marienbrücke, 87645 Schwangau, Germany Mary's bridge ("Marienbrücke") - THE TOP VIEWPOINT - built in 1866 by King Ludwig II is one of the most famous in the world! It can be easily reached by a shuttle bus (€ 3.00 p.p.) from the parking lot or on a 40-minute uphill hike. From the bridge you'll reach the castle entrance within a 20-minute walk downhill and pass one more magnificent viewpoint! 20 minutes
Poellatschlucht, Schwangau, Bavaria, Germany Enjoy views of the spectacular Pöllat waterfall from the Neuschwanstein Castle Courtyard and from the view point Marienbrücke "Queen Mary's Bridge" (for departures after 8 a.m. waiting times are possible; in case of snow and ice, the bridge is closed). The Pöllat is a 10 km long wild river and rises not far from Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps. 10 minutes
Schloss Hohenschwangau, Hohenschwangau, Bavaria, Germany Look forward to Hohenschwangau Castle, the neo-Gothic summer residence of King Maximilian II (the father of Ludwig II), also with an overwhelming fairytale interior and a spectacular children's room. For the 45-minute guided tour, we reserve a skip-the-line admission for you. Entrance fees (2022): € 23.50 / adult, € 13.50 / child 7 - 17 years, € 2.50 child under 7 years ***** 60 minutes
Plansee, Plansee, Austria Between Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Castle, there are almost 60 minutes' drive on the most scenic routes. The highlight is the Plansee, which is surrounded by high Alpine peaks. Depending on the traffic situation or – in winter – in case of avalanche danger, we drive a similarly attractive route on the Bavarian side. 10 minutes
Schloss Linderhof, Ettal, Bavaria, Germany In the middle of a remote Alpine valley, Ludwig II built his most magnificent and at the same time most intimate castle. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the rooms decorated in French Rococo style during the 30-minute guided tour!
Please note that the famous Venus Grotto will be CLOSED UNTIL 2025 due to restoration work!
Entrance fees adults 2022 (skip-the-line ticket): € 10.00
Children under 18 years: free admission 75 minutes
Oberammergau, Oberammergau, Bavaria, Germany Due to the COVID-crisis, the famous Oberammergau Passion Play had to be postponed for the first time since the 2nd World War. Normally, this major event, which dates back to the 17th century, always takes place during the full decade. We are happy to show you the Passion Theatre with its spectacular "convertible stage" on a guided tour of the town and will also be happy to explain the enchanting frescos/murals ("Lüftlmalereien") to you. Take time for a shopping spree in the historic town centre - numerous shops offer inexpensive souvenirs in a large selection, including the famous Oberammergau wood carvings. 35 minutes
Ettal Abbey, Ettal, Bavaria, Germany Founded at the beginning of the 14th century, Ettal Monastery is one of the highlights of this tour due to its Gothic-Baroque church. The Benedictine monks not only run a grammar school, but also brew the delicious Ettal monastery beer, which can be enjoyed on site together with specialties from Bavarian cuisine in one of the numerous inns. 20 minutes
Upper Bavaria, Bavaria, Germany Between the sights and during the trips to and from your hotel, you will enjoy the journey in our luxurious minivans with panoramic glass roof, full leather upholstery and all conceivable safety features and receive exciting information from your friendly and professional tour guide. 240 minutes

Are you able to walk slightly uphill from the car park to Neuschwanstein castle - approx. 1,5 km/1mile in an hour's time? If not, we have to calculate additional (waiting-) time for the horse-hybrid carriage or the Shuttle bus (not operating during snow and ice) – Anyway, an approx. 450 meters/0.28 miles uphill walk (up to 15 % slope) or an approx. 500 meters/0.3 miles downhill walk (up to 19 % gradient) from the respective terminal to the entrance of the castle have to be managed in any case! We can accompany you so that you can reach your castle tour in time.
In Neuschwanstein Castle, a total of 346 stairs (up and down) have to be mastered. If this is too much for you, and if you are a wheelchair user or have a corresponding medical certificate of a walking disability (must be scanned in advance and sent to us), we can request an exclusive lift service only for you with a maximum of one accompanying person, accompanied by the castle staff. The elevator service is at no additional cost, but (due to fire safety regulations) the number of tours with this service is very limited and must be reconfirmed by the castle authority. If you are mobile restricted, please inform us directly when booking under "Special Requirements" so that we can take any necessary measures.
To Hohenschwangau Castle there is a carriage (not in the winter season) almost from door to door. You have to climb stairs to the 3rd floor and back (no elevator).
Linderhof Palace is quite easy to reach from the parking lot on a relatively flat route: The castle is a 15-minute walk, in the castle itself only the stairs to the first floor have to be mastered.
Each castle can also be reached with prams, but during the castle tour neither they nor other larger pieces of luggage (e.g. cranes, larger backpacks) are allowed.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Exploring Bavaria with a private driver and guide is definitely the way to go! We were able to choose our own itinerary and spend the time we wanted at each venue. Our wonderful driver and guide, Katrin, shared information along the drive and secured any tickets that were needed. She planned a route that allowed us to see everything on our list: Alpine Coaster, Linderhof, Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and a lovely visit to Fussen. We would book again. The personal attention can't be beat! Thank you Katrin!!
