- 37 Km fantastic bike ride to the countryside - pine forest - vegetable and coffee - farms in Da Lat - High quality mountain bikes - Picnic lunch - Professional and licensed guides The total ride covers about 37 kilometers and moves from Dalat at 1500 meters to an elevation of around 1650 meters and then back down again. A great ride for those looking for varied terrain, a challenge and something slightly technical. Crazy 8 starts from Dalat and heads out to the east past Xuan Huong Lake and up through an area of flower farms. The road turns to dirt after 6 km and meanders around Victory Lake before turning to single track.

    A 37 Km ride and another Dalat classic. This is the most physically challenging of our rides. This ride starts out with a good warm up before pushing through a series of punishing hills. Save yourself for the end on this one.

  • Hồ Chiến Thắng, Dalat, Lam Dong, Vietnam
    Fantastic views throughout the ride and a great sampling of the terrain with lakes, pine forest and small country farms.After this single track section we connect into a pine forested valley area to the east of Dalat. This is where the hills start to rise up in front of you. The trail varies between a wider dirt trail and technical single track. This section of the ride has great rolling sections, some very tough hills and steep descents.

    After we have pounded out the steepest (but thankfully one of the shortest) hill on the ride, we come to a beautiful clearing that looks out over the forested area to the north of Dalat. We take a well earned rest here to have lunch. Lunch consists of fresh veggies and fruits, baguettes with an assortment of toppings and a French-style pastry to satisfy your sweet tooth. Dalat is known as the vegetable garden of Vietnam and lunch offers you a chance to try some of Dalat’s tasty produce.

    After lunch we head out of the forest and back into the beautiful farmland area that sits at the mouth of the valley. We briefly overlap a section of trail ridden earlier and head back to Dalat on sealed road to complete a lopsided, crazy looking figure 8.

Today I did a Mountainbike tour together with Na and Missi. The two of them are just lovely. They explained very well where we are going and what are the challenges. They always took care of us. First you have to drive on the streets through Da Lat but you’re then entering the forests. The trails are rocky, but it’s lot of fun to cope with them. It’s exhausting going up the hills but in the end you’ll have a really nice view. We had a delicious picnic and on the way back to Da Lat we stopped for some fresh juice. It was lot of fun to chat with Na and Missi during the breaks - they are really funny. I can definitely recommend this trip!

The name says at all :-). Steep descends and steep climbs, but the perfect way to explore Dalat and her surroundings. Trip goes through the city to the pine forrests and flower houses. Material was in top condition, guides were very friendly, included lunch was great. We would recommend this tour to everyone that desires a good MTB challenge.

I had an amazing time on my ride! It was everything and more than I expected. After looking for many mountain biking options in south eats Asia, this was the best one yet and I will definitely be back! I did the crazy 8 ride, if you are looking for a tough cross country ride through villages, up big hills and down steep ones. If you are questioning your ability you will probably be better off doing the northern exposure ride. My guide was great, we chatted the whole time. Food was awesome as well.
