Stop for tea break to taste Burmese Food at local tea shop (by your own expense). Then proceed to Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott’s Market, closed on every Monday & Public Holidays) where are available for one stop shopping such as clothes, traditional handicrafts, foods and thousand of Gem Stores with fare price. Continue to Yangon Railway Station and Board the local ‘circular train’ which runs from Yangon’s main railway station in a circle around various neighborhoods in town and on the outskirts of town. The slowly traveling train gives you unique opportunity to enjoy observing the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people. Disembark after 20-30 minutes in Kyimyintdein and meet with your local Trishaw Transporter in order to get unique experience for Trishaw (Side-Car) riding. Although it wasnt My first time to the city, I wanted to give such a service a try to see if it would bring me to hidden gems. Low and behold there were a couple of cool spots previously unknown to me, including some great food and drinking places. Guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Importantly, We were able to converse well in english.

This is the one to sign up for if you a wholistic experience of what the city has to offer without breaking your Budget! The host and guide was friendly and well versed, and although it feels a little more rushed than if you had checked out the different sites yourself, it’s still a very pleasant and affordable experience!
