Karen and our driver were great. They showed us all around the city, and a couple of places that were on the agenda that we had already seen were swapped out for alternate destinations with no difficulty (even though I am sure it messed up their planned schedule)
The knowledge of the sites and her expert photo taking both added a huge amount to what was already a great trip.
Highly recommended.

It was our first day in Myanmar, after very long flights, so we didn't start till 10am, but Karen arrived early and sat with us till we had finished breakfast and were ready to launch forth. Her English is very good, as is her knowledge of her city and country and answered all the questions we threw at her. She managed where she took us according to the time of day, with a judicious meal and toilet break in the middle. She chose a good variety of things to show us, including being inside a covered market through the hottest part of the day. Our favourites were the partially restored Secretariat building which is quite magnificent and I would love to go back when the whole complex is restored. And, of course, the Shwedagon Pagoda, which she cleverly planned to get us to just as dusk was approaching - a truly magical time to see it. Well done, and thank you Karen.

Marks of 11 out of 10 for Karen, our brilliant tour guide. She picked us up from our hotel @ 10.00 am and kept us entertained & educated in equal measure for 11 straight hours. She knew exactly where to take us & at what time.
She was so knowledgeable about the city that she loved and was very candid about what it it is like to live in Myanmar right now. Having a personal tour is so important in getting to really know a new city and Karen was the real star of the show.
