The elephant orphanage is open for only one hour between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm. After the tour at the elephant orphanage, the tour continue to the giraffe center.

    This is one and famous excurtions within Nairobi. David Sheldrick elephant orphanage is located in a secluded area of Nairobi National park. At this place, orphaned baby elephants and other animals are taken care of by a family of conservationist. The elephant orphanage is open for only one hour between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm.

George was our guide for the day, very friendly, very cordial, on time, very professional. We had a fantastic half day with the baby elephants, we learned a lot about the Center's mission and the important role they play. Also with the Giraffe Center it was a very educational visit, learning about the Rothchild's Giraffes that are housed in the sanctuary. All in all a very nice day and I would highly recommend.
