5 Days - Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha - Midrange - Safari Van

Monkey adventure is a reliable company. The communication was reliable and fast. The payment of the deposit was absolutely safe. The driver Daniel was really a perfect guide.

Charlie (aka Bush Pilot) was the key to the experience we had, which was excellent. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw all the animals we could have hoped for. On the way to our first night camp, he heard that a lion kill had happened recently and took us there - seeing the pride so close and so soon after a kill was incredible. We then ranged the Masai Mara to find 4 of the big five - we saw Lion, Elephant, Water Buffalo and Leopard (Julie Ward, then turn left!) - finding the shy leopard was one of the highlights for us. As a bonus we also found a group of cheetahs and were able to get close enough for some great photos. In addition we saw just about every animal; Hyena, Jackal, Antelopes of various types, Water Buck, Giraffe, Hippos, Crocodile, Monkeys. Baboons and many, many other birds and animals - too many to mention here - so much so we started a game of A-Z! I think we made most of the alphabet while in Masai Mara. Charlie was full of useful information about the animals and their lifestyles and put much of their behaviours into context. He also helped us identify trees and flora around the park and gave good geographical commentary on the road. Lake Nakuru was another great experience where we spotted 2 lions sleeping in a tree, which is a very rare site. We also saw flamingo and Rhino and enjoyed another game drive at Lake Naivasha searching for the elusive black rhino. Charlie was super knowledgeable and positioned the van expertly so we could get the best shots without being prompted. I can thoroughly recommend him as a guide. Accommodation was great throughout though next time I would only spend one night in a tent. Thanks, Charlie, and thanks Monkey Adventures for a wonderful trip!

Our contact Fuizah was always on the other side of the phone, texting you back, making all arrangements with full flexibility. Edward our tour guide pushed all limits for a better experience. We were always the closest to the action. I strongly recommend a Land Cruiser because roads are quite bumpy especially around natural parks. Thank you all for an experience of a life time.
