A short itinerary packed with interest providing an exciting overview of Kenya and her wildlife. Exclusive vehicles for sole use of families are available at a reasonable supplement. Amboseli is home to an abundance of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Plains game, lions, cheetahs and vast herds of elephants wander freely. The area is dominated by the stunning spectacle of Mount Kilimanjaro. At Lake Naivasha there is plenty for all the family to do. Not only can you go horse riding or cycling, but the main attractions are the 450 species of birds which have been recorded in and around this freshwater lake. Finally into the world-famous Masai Mara, one of the world's most enthralling wildlife theatres. The reserve plays host to countless species, including the 'big five' (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and the incredible spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration. Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli On arrival at Nairobi Airport, or pickup from city hotel and depart for Amboseli (250 km). After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight : AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE . Meals : Lunch and Dinner Day 2 Amboseli - Lake Naivasha Early morning game drive in the park . After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha in time for lunch (350 km). Afternoon game drive in Hells gate and option for boat ride to watch hippos. Overnight : LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA LODGE Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 3 Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara Depart early for your journey to the Masai Mara Game Reserve (270 km). Afternoon game drive. Overnight : MARA SOPA LODGE Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 4 Masai Mara fullday. Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge, or take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra cost). Later go for a whole day game drive with packed lunch . Overnight : MARA SOPA LODGE Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 5 - Masai Mara - Nairobi Early morning game drive followed by breakfast . Check out and depart masai mara with a game drive enroute to Nairobi (335 km), have lunch in the city ,then drop off to your booked hotel or proceed with your onward travel arrangement. Our driver and guide (David-Komongo) was amazing, but he belongs to a different company (LandMark) which was pretty good, but the tour operator Bryan, from Big Zone Safaris definitely has lots of room for improvement: Lack of communication, clarity, itinerary and expectations, and even changed our accomodation to a different lower class hotel on the day that we were literally driving towards it!! twice on the same trip on the same week!! unacceptable… too bad, cause the experience was amazing because we managed to make the most out of it with what was given.

Great safari! Visited Amboseli and Masai Mara National parks during the five days. My guide Jamlick has been a guide for 12 years, so he was well experienced in the best places to view the wild life. Very good driver for the road conditions! Was not nervous while he was driving. Seen all the animals I wanted to see-elephants, cheetahs, leopards, lions and lots of zebras and giraffes!!
