    We will depart from Nairobi for Amboseli National Park at 5.00am. Upon arrival, we begin a full day exploration of this famous wildlife reserve. Most famous for its stunning views of Africa's highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park offers photographers the rare opportunity to snap photos wild animals against the startling backdrop of Africa's most famous mountain. The park is home to a large resident population of Burchell’s zebras. Other herbivores include Thomson’s and Grants gazelles, buffalo, warthog, Maasai giraffe, impala, water buck and dik-dik. Baboons and Vervet monkeys inhabit the scarce woodlands. Carnivores are represented by lions, spotted hyenas, wild cats, jackals, caracals and cheetahs. With regards to birds, more than 400 species of birds have been registered. You’ll have lunch at a safari lodge and an afternoon game drive. You will then exit the park and start your journey back to Nairobi bringing to an end what we believe will be a memorable safari in Amboseli.

Nice experience with the animals views. We got to see lions, elephants, cheetas. The resort is excellent.

Excellent day trip for those that live in Nairobi, don't have the time to stay in Amboseli, but do want to see the national park. Stanley, our driver, was very friendly and punctual.

We (4 in family) had a one full day free and decided to take a day trip to Amboseli with Saunterland. We made an arrangement from the US and the process was really easy; James was very responsive and helpful. Patrick was our guide/driver and was very professional throughout the trip. We saw lots of animals but the most impressive was the gigantic herd of hundreds of elephants. Overall, an excellent and worthwhile trip, and I would recommend it highly. If you have a full day in Nairobi, this trip is a must!
