Maasai mara & Lake Nakuru National park tour

A very short but sweet trip to Kenya for two days Maasai Mara and one day Lake Nakuru. If your short on time this trip covers many sights and species . If you have longer I think an extra stop in Amboseli would be good . It was a last minute decision to take the trip on our part and John in the office was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions which was very encouraging. Peter was our driver and guide and we spent a fun four days in his company learning about the various animals and birds and the surrounding countryside . He is an excellent safari driver and we felt very safe with him . We enjoyed both the lodges especially the Lake Nakuru Lodge which has an excellent location . We would really have liked an extra day there to relax at the lodge and enjoy the view . One of the highlights for me was going to sleep to the sound of the male lion roaring at a distance .
