Our private transfer driver, Joseph, was amazing! There was a road closure on our way to Altrani (through the mountains) and our driver had to go the long way around to get us to our destination. Because of the windy roads and high elevation I started to get terrible motion sickness. Yikes! Joseph made me comfortable and had me sit up front with him, recline myseat all the way back and put my feet up on the dash board. I felt much better after doing this. As we got closer to our destination he started to tell us about the different cities along the way, which was really nice. Passing through Minori, he had asked, "Gelato madame." I said "yes, please!" We stopped at Sal De Riso, a fabulous gelateria, restaurante, and pastry shop. If visiting the area, you must stop there for a delicious treat and meal. And the place is stunning! We visited there again during our visit in Altrani. I'm so thankful Joseph was our driver. He was beyond fantastic and I highly recommend him/his service.
