Herculaneum, unlike Pompeii, was mainly covered by ash and mud, only partially by lava, so everything is better preserved than Pompeii: still houses have their doors and frescos in a very good status. This village was smaller than Pompeii and was mainly a residential area.

Napoli City Vision was very professional and easy to work with. Both our driver and guide were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about Naples and the historical sites. Our only disappointment was that the tour felt a bit rushed. Maybe I should have done some more research, but Pompeii is HUGE, and we only were able to see about 20% of it during our tour. You only spend 1.5-2 hours at each site, and for us, it was just not enough. The small group tour is definitely worth it. We passed lots of huge groups as we were going around, and it definitely didn't look like a great experience.

Gran excursion pero cirta de tiempo ya que para poder ver en profundidad los yacimientos arqueologicos necesitarias un dia entero pero muy recomendable por el trato recibido por parte de los guias que en todo momento contestaban qualquier duda que tubieras

This was a wonderful tour with a wonderful guide! Rosa was very knowledgeable and great with all of us. The lunch was great, the transportation was very comfortable. Our train was late arriving in Napoli and Christian from the tour called us and helped us find the meeting location.
