Pompeii private guided tour and Amalfi coast

Vincenzo was an amazing driver who made our day quite special. He was quick to respond, charming, funny and spoke perfect English. He listened to what we wanted to do, and then added his own suggestions including the best local places to eat. He even helped to arranged for our group of 7 to have a private tour with an English speaking guide at Pompeii. We absolutely loved the day that was made even more special by him. I would definitely recommend Vincenzo to anyone who needs transportation in Naples

We were lucky enough to have Vincenzo as our guide for our (much too) brief time in Naples and the Amalfi Coast and could not have been happier with the level of service we received. Not only is he a very safe and reliable driver, but he is also very knowledgeable of the area and went out of his way to suggest and book things for us to do which ended up being absolute highlights. In addition, he took very good care of my mother who had injured herself on the previous leg of our trip. Vincenzo (aka Vinnie) was recommended to us by past customers. What can I say? This Greek Adonis met us right at our Cruise Port as planned. (Man bun on his head included). He promptly hugged every one of us like we were family. He swiftly took us under his wing and began talking about the area and what other options there were, and we talked about each other to grow our friendship. We altered the tour to start in Sorrento and visit the beautiful town before all the Buses of tourists showed up. We found a local coffee shop with the most fantastic view. We wandered the streets and returned to Vinnie so my ladies could stare at him once again. We then made our way along the Amalfi coast, trying not to watch as he made the drive look easy as motorcycles missed us by millimetres, and buses looked like they were going to push us out of the way. Once we opened our eyes again, it was like nothing had happened, and this happy man safely placed us in Positano. We went down to the beach to touch the Mediterranean Sea for the first time and stared back at the wonder they call Positano. After walking back up 13 million and one steps, we found Vinnie with ease as he handed us nice cold bottles of water to quench our thirst from the adventure we had just had. We made our way back towards Pompeii, where he arranged lunch. He walked us into the restaurant, spoke a few words to our wait staff, and I swear on this man's hairy chest, once we had ordered, our food arrived in under two minutes. (We were under a time constraint as our Ship was starting to leave an hour earlier than it had all summer). We finished our lunch, and Vincenzo picked us up at our table and handed us over to our private Tour guide for the Pompeii Ruins. The guide was A+++. An excellent recommendation by Vinnie. She spoke very articulate and her English was perfect. She answered every question our family had. Once we finished that, we were again handed ice-cold water bottles and returned to our Cruise ship. Vincenzo is the man. Friendly, personable, knowledgeable and flexible. The kind of guy you want to invite to stay at your home so you can try to take just as good care of him as he took of you. This man rocks. You should only consider Vincenzo for your Amalfi coast experience.
