After 2 h walking tour of Sanità district , you will taste the famous and sweet “fiocco di neve” in one of the most important pastry shops in Naples. Finally proceed your tour with trip through the history of Christianity in Naples. Start with Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità, veritable museum of Neapolitan painting of the 17th cent, with valuable paintings, among others, by Luca Giordano and Andrea Vaccaro, and the first Neapolitan representation of Madonna and Child. Our guide was knowledgeable and very personable. Good English. Nice to talk to her about everyday life here in Napoli and see a new neighborhood. We actually went to the San Genero catacombs because the cemetery was closed. Good substitute.
