We are a family business since 1915. Our family produce the famous distillate of citron leaves. Carrying on the family business, Sofia (4th generation) will give you a tour in our distillery where the famous Kitron produce.

Great experience in Naxos! Sophia is amazing ! Her mother too. Among all we tried fresh limoncello from the "source", we paired wine and cheese and we spent one lovely hour. Thank you Promponas family.

Sophia was the best hostess, she was so friendly and accommodating. The tour is fascinating with a few surprises and too many tastings (never to many) the tasting was perfect as they have matched the liqueur to foods and Sophia encourages everyone to drink more of thier favourite. I will say when we come back to Naxos she is the reason we will do this again. She makes you part of her family if only for a few hours.

Fantastic experience in Naxos! Sophia is a fantastic guide! We got to try different types of citron, raki and ouzo together with cheese, sweets and bread. We also got to walk through the citron orchard and had a chance to fill up a bottle of citron! It’s only a 7 minutes drive from Naxos Chora (centre of town). Highly recommend this tour!
