Then after being into the naxian medieval atmospere, we ll walk in the old market place,get to the Orthodox Cathedral and the Cathedral museum where you ll see ruins from Mycenean era and before getting to Portara,we ll stop to have a sip of Citron Liquor, a PDO product of Naxos. Last stop ,the impressive Portara where after the detailed explanations about the monument, you ll enjoy a splendid sunset!

Our guide Rena was excellent! We'd already been in Naxos a few days however we were taken to areas we'd not yet explored and having her local knowledge and enthusiasm to impart the history of the town was a total pleasure. At the end of the tour we enjoyed Citronella from a local shop and sat down to enjoy a tasting menu from a lovely small local restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy more of this charming place.

This walking tour was very good and the tour guide was very informative and friendly Unfortunately the wine and bites part if this excursion was lacking for the extra money that was charged.
