Fun experience riding a horse. Especially for first timers. 2 mile ride to the beach and 2 miles back. Just enough time spent on the excursion. Make sure to bring sunblock and especially bug spray!! I got eaten alive on the way back. There are peacocks and an ostrich back on the ranch. Collin was a good guide who took plenty of pictures and videos for us to and from and answered all of our questions while making sure we remain safe on the journey.

It was a little tricky getting an email at 6am to meet at 8:30am instead of 9am but we were on time and traveled about 40 minutes west of negril to acres of land with 2 dogs, a friendly ostrich, some peacocks and beautiful horses. Jermaine got us on the horses and we rode through beautiful mangroves to come out on a beautiful beach. Riding on the beach and the mangroves was thrilling and lovely. The 45 minute wait for our ride back and 40 minute ride back was a bit tiring. Do remember to bring snacks and drinks for mid-ride break or post ride.

Horseback riding was amazing. Journey to beach was refreshing. Opportunity to ride through beach water surprisingly cool. Taxi driver did try to scam us for an extra $30 for pick up and drop off. ????Not a clever driver.
