From the email communications leading up to my trip, my arrival to Kathmandu, my trek, and even after my trek as I left Nepal - I experienced top notch service, warm hospitality, and genuine care the entire time. I can't recommend Great Adventure enough - connecting with Mr. Mani (the manager) was the best thing I could have done, especially as a solo female traveler. Every question and concern was answered and needs I wouldn't have even thought of were anticipated and addressed. I basically felt safe and taken care of every step of the way. My guide/porter Binod, was just perfect: kind, knowledgeable, and gave me space to do my thing - all while minding me enough to keep me safe. For the many hours we spent hiking, I couldn't have asked for a better guide - companion, really. Even after my trek upon my return to Kathmandu, Mr. Mani checked in with me and continued to extend his hospitality to make my visit to Nepal an unforgettable one. Whether you are a group, on a short trek (mine was customized), solo travel, etc.., contact Mr. Mani and you won't regret it. When I return to Nepal, the first thing (and possibly the only travel plan I may need to make) will be to call Mani and I know I will have another incredible Great Adventure.
