Étant novices en trek (nous pratiquons juste la randonnée de temps en temps sur du plat !), nous avons opté pour le petit trek de 2 jours en commençant à Ulleri. La randonnée nous a pris environ 3h30 (5h en tout en comptant la pause déjeuner) pour monter jusqu'à Ghorepani, puis 1h20 le lendemain matin pour monter à Poon Hill (un peu plus long que d'habitude en raison de la neige). Puis 30 minutes de descente pour retourner à la maison de thé, et enfin 2h pour le retour au point de départ. Côté matériel, les sacs de couchage sont appréciables (il fait froid dans les chambres !) Mais ils sont très arrangeants, ils peuvent prêter des couvertures si vous n'en avez pas. Nous avions loué des sacs de couchage à l'avance à Pokhara. Pour les lampes frontales, c'est bien sans être indispensable, une lumière de téléphone peut suffire. Enfin, les bâtons sont un plus mais pas indispensables non plus ! Côté difficulté, sachez qu'il y a plein de marches ! Et que vous le ressentirez les jours suivants dans vos mollets si vous n'êtes pas habitués. Mais la vue en haut de Poon Hill est magnifique ! Et le guide extrêmement gentil (il a même porté une partie de nos affaires). Le guide s'adapte à votre allure, propose de réaliser des pauses régulièrement. Pour résumer c'était un peu difficile pour des novices, mais nous ne regrettons pas, et nous en gardons de très bons souvenirs !
