Embark on a scenic and invigorating journey through the Annapurna region in Nepal with the popular Poon Hill Trek. Also known as the short Annapurna Circuit Trek, this idyllic trail showcases the beauty of the region with its picturesque villages and stunning rhododendron forests. In spring (March-April), the blooming rhododendrons create a paradise-like ambiance. The highlight of the trek is the early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m), where you will be treated to a breathtaking sunrise view of the entire Annapurna range, including the majestic peaks of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m), Machhapuchhre (6,998 m), and more. Although the trail requires some ups and downs, it is suitable for anyone with basic fitness. The ascent to Ulleri may be challenging with its over 3,000 stone steps, but the experience is well worth the effort.

Kumar is an absolutely amazing human and trek guide. I cannot recommend him enough! He was always generous, uplifting with a smile, and willing to answer any questions we had. Me and my friends had an amazing couple of days trekking through loon hill and getting amazing views of Nepal.

We had an amazing 3 day poon hill trek with Kumar! Everything was taken care of for us, including trekking permits, hotel bookings, and food. Kumar was wonderful, kind, thoughtful, and funny. His warm hospitality was one of the best parts of the trek. He knew all of the best picture spots, and gave us a lot of interesting information and history about trekking in the Anapurna region. I would absolutely hire Kumar again as a guide.

Kumar is the best there is. He made even the difficult parts of the hike fun. He took us to the best tea houses and even showed us a local favorite spot. His knowledge of the area is vast and his encouragement is never ending. I was worried about my lack of hiking being a problem on the trek but Kumar let me take things at my own pace. Kumar even helped us care for our bags while we were on the trek. The sights were beautiful even during the rainy season. 10/10 recommend booking with Kumar!
