One of the most popular trek in Nepal, south face of Annapurna is known as Annapurna Base Camp trek. Trek starts from Pokhara after an hour ride through Modi River valley.     Amzing trek with a knowledgeable and friendly guide who showed us the best views of green hills and white mountains. When a view was locked by mist, Pradip (guide) knew exactly were to take us to get it unlocked. The added comfortability, knowledge of people customs and places and above all the translation between English and Nepali made the entire trek a breeze, apart from the actual walking.
