Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers many a reason for trekkers to be fascinated during the whole trip. Highlights of the trek include panoramic views of mountain ranges and peaks, captivating sunrises and sunsets, terraced farmlands, ample time to villages of different ethnic groups and ample time to immerse yourself in the Himalayan lifestyle plus warm hospitality of the local people. It starts after a few hours’ drive from Pokhara. The route ascends through villages inhabited by different ethnic groups, specially the Gurung and Pun people. Meet Nepali people doing usual ups and downs in the course of daily life. The settlements, farmlands and forests give way to each other during the whole tour with the settlements getting thinner as you climb higher. Annapurna Base Camp Trek covers Ghorepani Poonhill Trek as well. In springtime, the forest around this area is covered with blooming rhododendron. Poonhill offers fabulous views of the mountains in Annapurna range.

Ram, Dilli, and Tupie are legeneds! Organised a custom itinerary for us and made the time in Nepal unreal!! Will definitely be back for more treks with Outdoor Himalayan, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure in Nepal!

I joined my friends on the Annapurna Circuit trek, which they had organised with Outdoor Himalayan Treks and it couldn't have been more straight forward other than for me to book international flights on a tight schedule. Everything was custom to our schedule and well organised, I just turned up having read through the schedule/itinerary pack and was welcomed at the airport where I could have felt a little lost but I wasn't because the attention to detail like identifying my face prior so they could fish me out of the crowd before I could recognise my name on a board. Greeted by the owner/operator and welcomed to Nepal was comforting. The trip with our Guide Dilli and porter Harri was a huge part of my fulfilling experience on the circuit, they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the whole mountain range and Nepal in general. I really felt I got to understand he culture as well as the mountains whilst being in the best care and safe at all times day or night. I wouldn't ask for anyone else returning to the Himalayas, these guys are fun and thoughtful, ensuring we make the most of the time we had there, I can't thank you enough. Amazing trip, Highly recommend OH treks!

We just returned from our Annapurna circuit trip. This organization was found through a Google search, where someone wrote a post about their travel experience with Outdoor Himalayan Treks. We decided to write to several companies, but these turned out to be the fastest. The owner of the company answered our questions very quickly and clearly that we were left in no doubt about who to go with in the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with local flowers and taken to the hotel where we began our journey. We had a guide and a porter during the entire trek. The guide was very polite and took care of us during the trip. Always adjusted to our pace, which contributed to good acclimatization. And Porter...I've never seen such strong people who can carry so much weight and go fast! Even though we have been to many countries, thanks to the well-coordinated team, we think it was the best trip ever. We are already planning our next trip to Everest Base Camp with Outdoor Himalayan Treks!
