Since it opened to foreign trekkers in 1977, the Annapurna Circuit Trek has become renowned as one of the most spectacular trekking routes in the world. Starting from less than 1,000 meters, it gives us a chance to explore the Himalayas from bottom to top and from many different angles and perspectives. This magnificent trek leads you to the fine village, inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, offering spectacular and majestic views of the Himalayas. Continuing to the north of the main Himalayan range to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking. The highest point of the Annapurna Circuit is the Thorong La Pass at the top of the valley at 5,416 m. As we descend to the west at Muktinath, from the pass we continue to the barren Tibetan like village of the Kali Gandaki – the world’s deepest gorge, passes between the giant Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains.

As a 16 year old girl this adventure has been amazing! I 100% recommend Ace the Himalayas, our brilliant guide Sushanta Neupane and incredibly strong porters Suman, Binod, Ramesh, and Kalika, who supported and encouraged me all the way. This trek was challenging but with their expert help anything is possible. I encourage anyone of any age to give this adventure a shot, it is rewarding beyond measure. Thank you so much Ace the Himalayas for showing me how rewarding hard work can be!!

What an unforgettable & life changing experience on Annapurna Circuit with our amazing guide Sushanta Neupane! He took amazing care of us & ensured we were staying at the best teahouse, eating amazing food and very safe. We cannot thank porter team enough: Suman, Binod, Ramesh, Kalika. They are so strong, kind and funny- what an amazing group of men! The entire team was always by our side and we couldn’t thank them for everything they did for us. I had a memorable trip in Nepal thanks to Ace! The preparation was very smooth, Sujan was flexible to make some changes to the itinerary and also responsive when there was an issue with the payment. Raj is a very experienced guide, gave good tips to prevent altitude sickness and was helpful. Also Bipin, the porter, always with a smile! They both made the trip a great experience. In my case, the downhill after Thorong La pass was difficult due to ice and I didn't have sticks or crampons. Both the guide and myself underestimated this factor, even if I asked in advance. My advice is to do your own research before you go!
