Soak in the evening vibe of Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath the two most important sacred sites in Nepal. After sunset, these places liven up in a completely different way. Feel the mysticism and divine ambiance. The lights, devotees and the overall ambiance present you with wonderful photo opportunities. Our professional English speaking guide will come and pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu and escort you to these sacred sites - Boudhanath and Pashupatinath Temple. He or she will brief you in detail about the monument and rituals. You can bring your camera to capture these wonderful sights. Please note, even though this is a photography tour, we won’t be providing a professional photographer to guide you. Our guide will only take you to places and let you experience moments that are deemed interesting and worth capturing.

  • Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, Nepal
    Boudhanath, apart from being an iconic landmark, is an important pilgrimage center for followers of Tibetan Buddhism. You will sees the devotees making a Parikrama (Circumambulation) around the Stupa. The white domed Stupa is beautifully lighted up and decorated. The devotees and monks light butter lamps and pray for the well-being of all sentient beings and world peace.

  • Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu, Nepal
    The ancient Hindu temple of Pashupatinath is one of the most important Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. ‘Pashupatinath’, means ‘protector of all living beings’. In the evening the atmosphere gets electrified with the chanting of sacred Vedic shlokas and hymns during evening ‘Arati’ (a sacred Hindu ritual where light from a flame is offered to the Gods). When the priests offer ‘Aarati’ the devotees are seen dancing in trance. Lord Pashupatinath, the patron deity of Pashupatinath Temple, is known for dancing the ‘Tandav’ a celestial dance.

We spent 5 days in Nepal that were organized by Naba & his team : - 2,5 days in Kathmandu (Boudhanath stupa, Bhaktapur durbar square, Monkey temple, strolling in Thamel & other neighborhoods) - 2,5 days in Pokhara (5 hours hike to reach Sarangkot amongst small villages, sunrise in Sarangkot hill, paragliding over the Lake Phewa, visits of Stupas, Mountainers Museum...) The whole trip was perfectly orchestrated, Naba had organized transportation & guide in both cities - you will be taken care of from the moment you land till your departure - and all of that with the kindness of your dedicated team. Want to also specially thank 3 people who made the trip an amazing experience : Ram - the guide in Pokhara & Kamal (guide in Kathmandu) + Laxman (driver in Kathmandu). Do not hesitate to ask Naba if he can leave you in the hands of this A-Team, you won't be disappointed. The guides are genuinely kind & very knowledgeable. If your budget allows it, I also recommend a helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp. NB : they also organize trekking - my next trip to Nepal will definitely the Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Although I had visited most of the places in daytime it was a good tour. The guide was very interesting and also had a lot of other things to tell about Kathmandu and Nepal while in the car between the spots. Maybe I should have read a little more careful before booking, the picture maybe misled me a bit.

This tour was stunning. Had I been on my own, I would have missed the experience all together. Instead, I witnessed a fire light devotion to the Hindu god Shiva at night on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. Deepa provided well informed and thoughtful insights. She was genuinely concerned that I had the time to enjoy what I was seeing rather than being concerned for her own time. Great opportunities for photos but you don’t need to be a photographer to appreciate this. Excellent tour guide and a must experience!
