Initially this museum was Malla Palace which is open daily. Patan Durbar Square (durbar means palace), a UNESCO World Heritage Site is the major attraction with the old royal palace and a host of artistically designed temples all within the square. The Patan Museum within the palace has a fine collection of metal craft, wood carvings and a precious Malla era throne.

It was nice and amazing tour during our visit to Nepal. Our Guide and DRIVER were Friendly and Experienced. We really enjoyed our Kathmandu city day tour. Kathmandu city is amazing and fully loaded with many cultural activities and lots of temple everywhere. It unique and wonderful city but can be more better if government can make it more clean otherwise its heaven on earth. I will rate 4 star for this tour.
