Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

We had engaged Outfitter for the 5 days scenic Poon Hill trek in March 2023. They’re chosen because of their competitive fee, no hidden costs & what were included & excluded were clearly spelled out in the website. More importantly was their excellent customer service, support & professionalism rendered before & during the trek. The coordinator Raj was promptly in replying my queries / emails before the trip. And we were blessed to have experienced guide Hom to lead the team. Hom was professional, caring & passionate in his work. He took care the wellbeing of hikers & the service was impeccable. Well done. The guide and the 3 hardworking ultra fit porters Prakash, Binod & Bhuban displayed excellent teamwork to take care of us. The guesthouses were cleaned with attached toilet except one at Tadapani was shared toilet but not an issue at all. Hot & yummy meals were served with many choices and it was included in the package. At the end of day Outfitter even presented plaque to each of us for completing the trek instead of usual paper certificate (see last photo)! Outfitter, see you again in Nepal for next trek.

The trip was well organised and everything ran smoothly. Our Guide and Porter ( many thanks Ravi and Vimson) were extremely professional from start to finish and would often work hard to go above and beyond to ensure everything worked seamlessly. They are a real asset to Outfitters Expedition. The tea house accommodation was better than expected, clean, cosy with bags of character. We also did a 2 day safari in Chitwan with Rhino Land Lodge ( through Outfitters) and I have to say it was more than we could have hoped for. The food was excellent, accomodation clean and well maintained. Overall the trip was an excellent experience which I must mention again was enhanced by the tirelessly hard work by Ravi and Vimson.

This Annapurna Poon Hill trek difficulty is on a different level of difficulty indeed. Graded as moderate due to its steep terrain, high elevation, and basic facilities, this trail demands an average fitness with a great highland passion. And we are just so glad that we are in the hands of a Senior Guide, Hom...who have really well taken care of us on and off the trail. From giving advises not to take meat (tho' I don't) to avoid stomach upset to ensuring that we get a proper meal, my morning coffees, my night hot water for my green tea, to ensuring our guestrooms comfort so that we can get a good night sleep.....to everything!!!! Pls accept our most sincere appreciation and gratefulness to Outfitter Nepal for all the arrangements and to Hom and team for taking care of all of us up the mountains and for ensuring that we all have a wonferful trekking memory!! Hence shouthout to Outfitter Nepal, to Hom and the boys, a massive THANK YOU for everything!!????????????????????
