  • Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu, Nepal
    Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to 18th century.
  • Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu, Nepal
    Pashupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of river Bagmati and is one of the main temples of Lord Shiva. The temple area is full of other smaller temples of numerous Hindu deities which gives the whole place an ambience of a sacred paradise.
  • Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, Nepal
    The Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which was built on the ancient trade route to Tibet. Beside the main stupa which was built in a Nepali Buddhist style, there are over fifty Tibetan monasteries around the area built by Tibetan merchants and the large influx of Tibetan refugees over the years. Here, you not only get to appreciate the spectacular art and architecture of ancient Nepal but that of neighboring Tibet as well.

    The Swayambhunath Temple has a compelling mix of both Hindu and Buddhist shrines and stupas. It is popularly known amongst foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area.

  • Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with Himalayan Glacier. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Very well organised business, at logical pricing, run by the most positive person (Mr Narayan), with associates that will go the extra mile to help you and make you feel at home. A special mention is due to our amazing guide, Mr Dipesh Thapaliya, who was appointed to us by the sweetest, reassuring and always smiling girl Leena (the meticulous tour operator who was in charge of our holiday organization before and after we arrived). Be sure to ask for Dipesh (as your guide) and your holiday will be guaranteed! The guy simply doesn't know how to say "no". He was there for us, wholeheartedly, all throughout our two whole day journeys, all around Kathmandu (and outside), always eager to help and please. Indeed, if it hadn't been for him I really do not know how things would have turned out! He acted as a wave crasher so that the Kathmandu chaotic feeling (almost on a par with that of India) never touched us, unless we wanted it to (for sometimes you let it touch you - just for the experience). A million thanks to all the guys there, at the Himalayan Glacier agency for they made our trip into an unforgettable memory!!!...
