This trek is a new path in the Annapurna region and unlike some of the others is not as developed, the lodges and tea houses are very basic and are home-stay. This of course allows you to experience Nepal at a more basic level and be close to the natural surroundings.The trek for Annapurna starts and ends in the second largest and most beautiful city of Pokhara.Pokhara is set around Fewa Lake and has many sightseeing opportunities and is the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries after many days trekking.

If you are considering this trek, think no more, just wonderful. Biru Tamang, Bhoj & his team are excellent from the moment of pick up until you go home. We were looked after so well and felt cared for in every way. The tea house stays were well selected and we were welcomed warmly. I would not hesitate to recommend Top of the World Treks to anyone going to Nepal

Our Khopra Ridge trek was definitely the trip of a life time. 8 friends guided superbly by Biru and Bhoj and supported physically and mentally by the porter group. Great exposure to Nepal history and culture in Kathmandu, Pokhara and local villages. Biru and Bhoj not only very ably fulfilled the trekking guide role, but also provided so much knowledge for the cultural and religious aspects. The whole team also became our friends. Professional, skilled, knowledgeable and caring. The walk itself is a great mix of villages, hills, forests, snow, mountains and altitude. Absolutely WOW scenery. Definitely a feeling of succeeding in a significant challenge, but well within our fitness levels. A very well structured walk for gradual ascent and then a rapid descent. Biru had ensured we were well prepared and entertained us well on the way. Definitely gives me the desire to go back again for another walk with Biru and his team.

A group of 8 Australian ladies all over the age of 55 set off on an adventure of a lifetime. All were first time visitors to Nepal. For me personally, the trip with Biru and Bhoj was managed superbly, effective and efficiently with so much care and thoughtfulness from the guides and porters. Nothing was ever a problem. The route itself was stunning, with magnificent scenery. Tea houses provided excellent food, friendly service and adequate accommodation, especially given our locations. I would highly recommend Top of the World treks to anyone travelling and trekking in Nepal.
