Amazing Langtang Valley Trek is also popularly known as the valley of glaciers trek on the journey to wilderness Himalayas making it one of the wildest trekking in Nepal. Langtang is one of the closest places from Kathmandu Valley where you could get to see huge snow-capped mountains and gorgeous glaciers. Langtang valley is located only 19 miles from Kathmandu on the north. Few hours of a drive from Kathmandu will take you to the beautiful Langtang region. The whole Langtang valley is surrounded by Mount Langtang Lirung (7246m) that offers pine forest, rugged rock, swift mountain streams and snow-capped peaks.

  • On this hiking trip, you will be walking at demanding altitudes of approximately 3870 meters above sea level, with the possibility of extreme variations in weather; it is common for travellers to experience adverse health effects due to this altitude, regardless of your age, gender, and fitness. It is highly recommended that you discuss this trip with your doctor prior to departure
  • All our leaders have basic first aid training and are aware of the closest medical facilities
  • You must confirm and obtain any visa requirements prior to border crossing. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveller. Visas are obtainable from embassies abroad or on arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. If you are planning on getting a multi-entry visa from the airport, please be prepared for long lines; you will also need to provide 2 passport photos and the following fees in USD: $25 for a 15-day visa, $40 for a 30-day visa, $100 for a 90-day visa.
  • Travel insurance that covers medical expenses, including emergency repatriation, is required to participate in this tour; proof of insurance must be shown to tour leader on the first day
  • Extra Luggage: You may leave any extra luggage in Kathmandu Hotel (We will handle that) and pick it up upon your return.
  • Required Trekking Gears Available to Buy or Rent in Kathmandu or Pokhara. (Our Guide will help to arrange)
  • if you would like to take private jeep will be cost 150 USD Per group pay directly to Kathmandu office.
  • Minimum age is 5 years
  • 150 USD extra per group if you prefer a difference language besides English.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had 15 days trek with Bishnu's team (Ashok + Santosh). Everything was very well organized and exactly how it was expected. It was my firs visit in Nepal. I was with 3 of my friends and we really spent great times with beautiful landscapes and they help us to meet people from Nepal...We had some meals with people from Langtang that was so great. Now we are in love with Nepal and we will come back for other adventures. And we will do it with that friends team from Himalayan Recreation.

Bishnu et son équipe (Ashok et Santosh) nous ont comblés pendant ce trek. Ils sont très à l'écoute, professionnels. Nous avons partagé des moments forts avec eux, pleins d'enrichissements. Une devise lue lors de notre trek résume bien ces moments passés : "Come as a visitor, go as a friend".
