Langtang valley is a thriving trekking region close to the Kathmandu valley, with much to see and do and a hub for eco-tourism. The area is renowned for its wilderness and similarity to Tibetan highlands. Trekkers who are in search of natural beauty will be delighted by the rhododendrons, the national flowers of Nepal, when they walk through dense bamboo forests, pass by high waterfalls and view the snow-capped Himalayas that seem close enough to touch. However, the pride of Langtang valley treks are the mountain peaks such as Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri, Dorje Lakpa, Langshisa Ri and Langtang Himal. Surrounded by glaciers from all sides, Langtang valley region is also known as the Valley of Glaciers. A throng of glaciers originated from the Himalayas is an excellent reward for your trekking efforts. Another highlight of this trek is Kyanjin Gompa, which dates back to hundreds of years. Rich natural diversities and pastureland are other attractions of Langtang Valley Trek.

Loved our Langtang Valley trek - well organized and the guides did a great job making the experience outstanding for our whole group. The owner (Ganesh) did a great job coordinating and communicating ahead, during, and even after the trip. Highly recommend this experience and i will personally look to do another one! I went for the Langtang Valley trek in December and had a wonderful time. We planned the itinerary and negotiated the price on Whatsapp before the trek and it was easy to communicate with the guide, Bishal. He was very welcoming and helpful, right from picking me up from the airport to arranging accommodation and showing us the cultural sites in Kathmandu to taking care of each and every detail during the trek. If I go back to Nepal for another trek, I would definitely pick the same company and guide again. Highly Recommend.
