Mardi Himal trek is a short, newly- explored trekking route in the Annapurna region. This trek would be the best option for those who are looking for an ‘off the beaten track’ trekking experience in the secluded part of the Annapurna region of Nepal. Very few trekkers make their way to the Mardi Himal Base Camp situated at the foothills of Mardi Peak and the spectacular Machapuchhre. The trail goes along small labyrinthine paths, through deep rhododendron forests until we climb out of the forest at an elevation of 3,310 m. The landscape changes quite unexpectedly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with tantalizing mountain views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South. While trekking, we will pass through hidden valleys, terraced farms, sparkling rivers and local settlements where we will come across unique cultures and traditional way of life.

The trek was totally awesome, we loved the way how guide guided us with friendly behavior. They were so loveable and helpful. They were with us from the pickup point to the drop-off point.

The moment we get to the top of the mardi view point was the best part of the trek. Everyday we hustle for that moment and it was worth it. Kudos to everybody who helped me to make this trip successful and fun.

The trek was very-well planned and fun; with friendly guides. They were really helpful. Right from the pickup point at Pokhara to drop-off at Pokhara after the trek, the guides engaged with us in conversation and we all got to share our prior trekking experiences. Not only this, when some of us couldn't carry out bags, they helped us by carrying them. This was literally a life-saver! The weather was also super nice which enhanced the entire trekking period. However, the 4 days 3 nights trek was shortened by 1 day and we had to rush down to Pokhara from Mardi View Point, and we walked for 13 hours. It was really hectic and tiring, so that was unpleasant. Otherwise, the overall experience was good,
