It was rubbish. I missed the sunrise because Viator/the tour company forgot about my booking. I stood alone on a cold, dark, street corner for one hour and a half waiting to be picked up at the appointed hour (4.30am) to do the sunrise tour. The tour guide finally picked me up at 6am. Then both the driver and the guide complained to me about having to get up at 5am!!! I completely missed the sunrise and had to argue and fight for compensation (a sunset cable car ride). Don't book with these jokers!

We had a great morning/ day with a nice sunset and a relaxed hike through beautiful nature and tiny villages.. plus a very kind guide and driver :) so all in all a great escape from Kathmandus‘ hustle! Thanks to Ray!

The hike itself was easy and suitable for all ages but unfortunately, on our hike day it was cloudy and foggy so we didn’t get to see the actual sunrise along with the view of Himalayan mountain range in the background. However, this will be a reason to come back again and hopefully be able to see it with our own eyes next time. As we hiked downhill, we passed the local villagers and some even greeted us with the smiles on their face. Our guide, Ram was friendly and informative. He’s a very experienced guide and shared what he knows about Nepal with us. Together with him, our driver (Birin, not sure if I got it right), they both made sure our trip went smoothly and safe until we reached back to our hotel. Thanks again, Ram and Birin and also Luxury Holidays for arranging the tour.
