Poon hill Trek 3 days

This is a local business and are very experienced. Our guide Yakub knew the walk well and adjusted the pace to our fitness levels and took care of everything. We had a porter to carry most of our gear which is great as these people are guides in training. There is quite a few hidden costs in this walk like permits etc and this was all taken care of in the package. Very happy with my trip.

A Trek Full of Natural Beauty and Local Culture The Poon Hill sunrise is definitely a highlight — the view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges glowing in morning light is something I’ll never forget. But there’s so much more to enjoy: the stone-paved paths, traditional tea houses, birdsong, and the calm rhythm of walking through the hills. From the first day, he made me feel safe and supported. His English is excellent, and he was always happy to explain local customs, answer questions, and share insights into Nepali life and culture. He made sure I was comfortable at every stop — finding the nicest available rooms, helping me order food, and just being attentive and thoughtful throughout. Toward the end of the trek, I twisted my ankle, and he quickly organized a jeep pickup to save me from walking further. I felt really well taken care of the entire time. Had an excellent trip with Nepal Wilderness Trekking and my guide Saugat. He guided the trip with good humor and shared insights on the region, the mountains, and local culture. The lodge at Ghorepani was very comfortable with a warm dining hall, helpful staff, and a friendly group of travelers from around the world excited to experience the Annapurna Sanctuary. We capped off the trek with a breathtaking sunrise at Poon Hill which highlighted the peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South. Quite an amazing morning. Note to the casual weekend hikers, like me: this trip is not a cakewalk, so get your steps in before you go.
