Opened in 2016, this exciting experience takes you on a 10-minutes journey to the top where you can see a panoramic view of the Mighty Himalayas.     This is a truly amazing trip as you ride effortlessly to the top of Chandragiri Hill (Elev. 2520 m). The trip will start as you travel from your hotel by private vehicle. The cable car starts at 8.00 am in the morning and closed at about 5.00 pm daily. The ride to the top takes just 10 minutes of truly breath-taking scenery as your gondola rises above the dense jungle below. As you climb higher, the mountain ranges become more and more visible. On top of Chandragiri Hill, walk around and enjoy the magnificent view. Here you will find the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site that honors Sati Devi, the first wife of Lord Shiva. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the finest restaurants in all of Kathmandu (meals are not included in the price). The food is excellent and the scenery is outstanding. Finally, return to your private car by cable car, traveling down the mountain before taking the short 30-minute ride back to your hotel.

This is an experience you should never miss if you are in Nepal , Kathmandu. It’s an hour drive and by cable car you go up . The view of the mountains are out of the world from the top . Lots of activities to do on the top including Zip line which was fun. The temple premises is amazing . Our Guide Shanti was helpful .. few things though which we felt, one the pricing is on a higher scale for the tour , two the time is not sufficient it requires at least one more hour and the tour guide was asking us to leave at 11.45 , I really suggest to extend the timing as we could not see or relax .. apart from that overall excellent tour

To sum up the place is Awesome and a must visit spot if you are in Kathmandu. The cable ride is amazing and the view from top of the mountain is out of the world. There are lot of activities up in the mountain like zip line . The temple is worth visiting . Our tour guide Shanti was smiling and helpful. One suggestion to the Tour operater the tour timing needs to be increased and additional one hour is required . We felt short of timing.

I have been on cable cars many times and did not expect much. But my guide, Sarita Karki, made it much better than I expected. It covered more information and her enthusiastic personality (and good quality English) made the tour most enjoyable. The company, Himalaya Planet was easy to work with and responsive to special requests.
