    The Shaman temple and healing center is only 1 km north of Thamel. It's run by traditional Himalayan Bon Shamans who offer spiritual healing and counseling to everyone. They also train young Shamans there. While visiting, you can watch how Shamans help locals heal. You can also book a private session with a Shaman if you want to talk one-on-one.

    The Shamanism tour was a fantastic and unique way to begin our exploration of Kathmandu. Our guide spoke great English, and led us to the shamans' ceremony at a building not far from our hotel. The shamans cast the negative spirits out of my friend Logan, and we were fascinated to experience their ancient traditions. Highly recommended!
