    Your private guide picks you up at your hotel in Munich, and we drive to Hohenschwangau village. First, we take the shuttle to Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) for some amazing pictures. Then we walk to Neuschwanstein (the fairy-tale castle) with a tour inside. You will know more about the Swan King (Ludwig II) king of Bavaria (1864-1886). And the history of Neuschwanstein Castle (built 1869-1886). Afterward, from the castle’s foot, we take a horse carriage to Hohenschwangau village. # Please note that (during the winter months, due to snow and for safety reasons, the Marienbrücke is closed).

    The beautiful Ettal Abbey, nestled in the little village of Ettal in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, is an impressive Baroque structure that is not to be missed when touring Southern Bavaria. A visit to the beautiful Ettal Monastery, which was founded in 1330 by Holy Roman Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian for a group of knights and a community of Benedictine monks. You will evidence the life of Benedictine monks who still live there. Afterward, we drive back to your hotel.

    What a beautiful day! Martin arrived at our hotel right on time and we set off into the beauty of Bavaria! Martin was a gentleman, very knowledgeable, and took great care of us! The ride to the castle from Munich is beautiful, the castle stunning, and the buildings in Oberammergau are perfectly Bavarian, the shops unique, and Martin’s recommendation for lunch was delicious! Martin gets five stars! I highly recommend this private tour!

    Had a wonderful time with our guide, he was very knowlegable about the castle and the history of Germany. Answered all of our many questions and gave recommendations for the rest of our trip. 100% would book again, thank you for a great time!
